Employment
Scheinwelt Group does not have employees, nor do we accept employment applications. You may file one, pursuant to fair hiring practices law, but doing so constitutes a failure to read carefully, and disqualifies you as a candidate.
For those ambitious enough, CVs are accepted only in the accompaniment of a personal presentation (video or audio as appropriate,) a portfolio, or multiple other proofs of competence relevant to the work you wish to do for us:
- Introduce yourself very briefly. Consider your introduction in light of our business and limited time resources.
- Show us your work, in context preferably. This should be minimally 2/3 of your presentation.
- Don't include factors that are unrelated to demonstrating your skill, competence, capabilities, and desire.
- Demonstrate proper English speech and writing. Additional language skills are a plus!
- Demonstrate good taste if you are applying to work in design.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, and put your CV last / at the bottom / below your portfolio presentation or it will be disregarded entirely.
- Explain in detail how you will make money for the company, and how much of that profit you expect to take home with you.
- Demonstrate a consistent ability to not suck. Provide references.
- Provide a schedule of availability, and provide the distance in miles between your home and our facility by road, and how you plan to reliably get between the two.
- We don't care about your grades, degrees, or what schools you went to, but we are keenly interested in any work you did during that time that demonstrates relevant skills, reliability, or significant achievements.
Internship
Limited paid and unpaid internships, and apprenticeships are available to qualified candidates of working age. Application process described above. Please include any program requirements if you are applying as part of an academic program.
We are not in the business of training hobbyists, so the same standards we require of partners, contractors, and co-owners outlined above are also required of interns and apprentices with allowances for experience.
Location
Most work opportunities will be limited to those who can commit to a strict on-site schedule.
